2008 Mercedes Benz P8
The growing popularity of 360 Modena and recently launched Gallardo is worrying Mercedes Benz and they are up to launch their new Mercedes Benz P8 as a 2008 model. Well, mid engine super car segment is quite lucrative and Mercedes people do not want to fall behind.
Mercedes is focusing on taking its place between $370,000 SL 55 AMG and the $1 million SLR with its smaller, lighter, more focused mid-engine model in performance and price.
2008 Mercedes Benz P8 is officially a concept, which means that the cost proposal is still under way, hence no guesses for the prices. Convertible is expected for the car with regular coupe. According to Mercedes boss Jurgen Hubbert, “We are looking at a mid-engine road car, but there is no decision on production.”
Any guesses for the prices. It might cost somewhere about $450,000 and could have a higher price tag then the cars it is going to compete i.e. Ferrari 360 and Lamborghini Gallardo. Whether this car will see the light of the day is not very clear. McLaren claims that the car has simply been delayed further than its projected 2007 instigated date.

this kinda concept does not fit into the all known class of Mercedes family, therefore Mercedes’s should not rig up such messed-up into the market, otherwise Mercedes fans would probably move to the other exciting concepts as BMW does..
i love mercedes sooo much best car make out and can’t wait to see the new p8 out on the road but better if you make it cheaper than the lambo coz get more sales and then you will show lambo who is boss BRING ON THE MERCEDES ha

There really is no comparison between Mercedes and other makes. They are a step above, no doubt about it. They make BMW look like yugo’s in my opinion.
