2008 Nissan Skyline GT-R, 2008 Infiniti GT-R

2008 Nissan Skyline GT-R is couple of years away of being driven by general people but spy shots have appeared on the net since long. The vehicle would come to US with a badge of 2008 Infiniti GT-R. The car in the picture looks quite different then the photos which were available earlier. The car is for sure longer overall length then its Japanese Nissan Skyline counterpart. The design and development of the car has taken close to 6 years. It is evident from the time taken for the development of the car and the tightlipped ness of Nissan officials this car is going to be one of the best and fastest car from Japanese auto maker.
The car is going to be fitted with Nissan latest hardware and all wheel drive. Twin turbo version of Nissan’s VQ V6 with 400 horsepower engine is expected in this future car. Nissan originally planned for V-8 engine, which was dropped due to the fact that the engine was too big and heavy which was a hindrance in the effective dynamic balance. The all-wheel-drive system will feature electronic ATTESA E-TS, torque sensing, matched to four-wheel steering. The car is planned to have a speed of 180 mph and would reach 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds.
This is going to be for the first time that a Skyline is imported in United States. There is much hype around the vehicle and Nissan is not going to leave any stone unturned to live up to this hype with their new 2008 Nissan Skyline GT-R or 2008 Infiniti GT-R which ever will be the name for it on US soil.
Ligts look like 350z’s, but car looks great.
your cars are very nice i think that you guys just need more newer carss thats it thats all i have to say.
Nissan already decided to use the original Nissan badge which the Skyline is know for carrying, i don’t understand how people would even fathom a Infiniti badge on this vehicle.
Wow. Finally a GTR concept that doesn’t blow. Not exactly headlights worthy of the R34, but definately better than the origional concept. Now if they could only bring back the inline RB26 motor….
your cars rock but some of your cars are too slim. i think they would be better a bit higher
but your cars are great
forget that haters the car is one best cars i’ve seen
BEST CAR EVER!!!!!!!!!
I’m gonna get one of these
Why VQ-V6
RB26DETT was superior and powerfull
and still is, I dont know what the
fuck these people at nissan are doing.
They fuckedup the design and the engine. So sad. I would still
prefer R30 to R34 Skylines with RB
engine. They are talking about 400+
Bhp, previous skylines offer much more. Looks and engine.
I say there was’nt the need to change it for next 10 years unless they had a better replacement.
So long skylines
I Have A Skyline GT-R and A SKYLINE 350 GT AND WHEN THIS ONE COMES OUT ILL ADD IT TO MY COLLECTION
THIS WILL HAVE MORE THAN 180HP It Will MORE LIKELEY HAVE 336 or 360HP
bet car of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
Oh my god! This vehicle is still as powerful as ever! I cant wait til this baby comes out! Gonna buy it right off the lot!
its not only V6 too ,it got twin scroll turbo in it tat can generate 500bhp…a V6 and a twin scroll turbo(almost like a super car concept but juz only V6)if its a V8 then its a ferrari!!!
This car looks nice but, where is the regular gear box nissan has made a bad move and given this car paddle shifter no real driver wants that crap this car is for a young person and all your going to see driving this thing is some rich asshole that know nothing about the history of this car i think we as young people should try to make our own companies and shut nissan down we have better ideas these guys are just old dinosaurs looking to be extinct look at how much this thing cost its rediculous
